Medical Microneedling

Microneedling in Chicago With FDA-cleared Candela Exceed™ Device

ABOUT MEDICAL MICRONEEDLING

Exceed™ medical microneedling is a minimally invasive skin-perfecting procedure. Very fine, sterile micro needles create tiny punctures in the skin which promote a natural collagen healing process to reduce the appearance of facial wrinkles and acne scars.

Treatment Highlights

Looking for a smooth complexion? The Exceed™ microneedling device is a minimally invasive skin-enhancing tool. The Candela Exceed™ medical microneedling device used at Cirine is FDA-cleared for dual indications of facial wrinkles and facial acne scars.

CREATES NEW COLLAGEN

Microneedling creates safe micro tears in your skin which then trigger increased cell activity and collagen production. Collagen is what gives your skin elasticity and a plump, healthy look.

REDUCES THE APPEARANCE OF FACIAL WRINKLES

The small pricks caused by the needle enhance the skin’s ability to create new tissues in the face. If you struggle with excessive wrinkles and don’t want to opt for Botox treatment, try out our microneedling treatment to help smooth and tighten your skin.

Treats Facial Acne Scars

Fade acne scars or dark spots with the help of our professional microneedling treatment. Schedule a consultation today to learn more about the process.

FAQ

HOW SOON WILL I SEE RESULTS?

You may begin to notice results within a few weeks, but full results will be realized within approximately three months as your collagen builds and plumps the skin. We recommend four to six treatments, spaced four weeks apart, for maximum benefit.

Following the treatment series recommendation and provided post-care protocol will help you to receive the best results. Patients report experiencing brighter, more radiant complexions, and smoother skin texture, along with minimized wrinkles and scarring.

IS THE TREATMENT PAINFUL?

Topical numbing is applied before the treatment, so most patients find Exceed™ microneedling to be painless and enjoyable.

HOW LONG DOES THE PROCEDURE TAKE?

A typical Exceed™ microneedling treatment will take approximately one hour, including time for numbing.

WILL I HAVE ANY DOWNTIME?

Most patients experience minimal downtime after an Exceed™ treatment. You can expect effects similar to a sunburn for one to three days, with after-effects continuing to diminish thereafter. Following the recommended post-care protocol can help to reduce your downtime and improve your treatment results.

AT-HOME MICRONEEDLE ROLLERS VS. MEDICAL MICRONEEDLING

We do not recommend any at-home microneedling devices. Use of such devices carries an increased risk of track-mark lines, excessive bruising, micro-tears in the skin, and possible infection and scarring. You may be causing more harm than good.

The providers at Cirine are experienced and trained in medical microneedling and use the industry-leading FDA-cleared Candela Exceed™ device along with medical-grade, sterile, and disposable needle cartridges. Another benefit of in-office medical microneedling in Chicago is our specially designed post-care protocol and access to our expertise while healing.
