You may begin to notice results within a few weeks, but you’ll see full results within approximately three months as your collagen builds and plumps the skin. For maximum benefit, we recommend four to six treatments spaced four weeks apart.

A typical Exceed™ microneedling treatment will take approximately one hour, including time for numbing.
Most patients experience minimal downtime after an Exceed™ treatment. You can expect effects similar to a sunburn for one to three days, with after-effects continuing to diminish thereafter. Following the recommended post-care protocol can help reduce downtime and improve treatment results. Avoid direct sunlight and tanning beds for at least 72 hours after your microneedling treatment. It’s best to apply sunscreen with at least SPF 30 to the treated area the day after your treatment.
The number of microneedling treatments you’ll need depends on your individual aesthetic goals and the specific concerns you wish to address. Generally, most clients see noticeable improvements after three to six treatments. Microneedling is generally a well-tolerated procedure, but like any cosmetic treatment, it does carry some potential side effects. Most commonly, you may experience mild redness, swelling and irritation in the treated area immediately after the procedure. These side effects typically go away in a several days but may last up to two weeks. We recommend using a gentle cleanser to wash your face after treatment. Avoid retinol and any other topical prescriptions for five days after your treatment.
Professional microneedling devices use needles around 0.75 millimeters to 2 millimeters in length, while at-home microneedling tools are less than 0.5 millimeters in length. We do not recommend any at-home microneedling devices. Using such devices increases the risk of track-mark lines, excessive bruising, micro-tears in the skin and possible infection and scarring. You may be causing more harm than good.
